Aarav Patel – Founder & Executive Director

Hello! I’m Aarav, and I’m a rising senior at Amity Regional High School. As a child, I discovered my passion for STEM early on. In 4th grade, I taught myself Python, bouncing between different courses and online tutorials until I trudged through building my first project. Today, I enjoy using my technical skills to build projects and apps that can benefit the world around me. I am currently a student researcher at MIT who has first-authored three peer-reviewed papers, and I have competed in prestigious math competitions such as AMC, AIME, ARML, CMIMC, and MMATHS. Additionally, I am the president of my Investment Club, where we placed 2nd globally in the Wharton Global High School Investment Competition. In my free time, I enjoy swimming, lifting, and listening to music. I started Students of STEM to support other kids of all socioeconomic backgrounds in their STEM journeys while also providing guidance that would have helped me in my STEM journey. I specialize in all offered classes.
